Sunday, January 22, 2023, Reeds will vote on disaffiliation at 3PM.
Please note: due to the volume of information needed for an official church conference vote, this will be a straw, non-binding, anonymous written ballot vote overseen by the Church Council Chair and Pastor to see if there is 2/3 support for Reeds to leave the United Methodist Church and from there to form a disaffiliation committee who will then oversee the work needed to proceed with a church conference vote overseen by the Uwharrie District Superintendent. This vote will determine the direction of the Reeds UMC in the future and we strongly encourage all professing members to participate.
