There’s a lot of good news about Coronavirus cases decreasing in this area and nationwide both in terms of numbers and severity. I am hopeful along with everyone else that the worst of the past two years of the pandemic is past us. Along with the state, the revised guidance from our Annual Conference is for masks to be optional according to local conditions. In making masks optional here, please be aware that the pandemic is not over yet and we still have vulnerable individuals in our churches and community. There’s nothing wrong with continuing to wear masks and maintaining appropriate distance as you feel the need to. Our primary goal all along has been to keep each other safe and thanks to everyone for your patience as we have navigated the many challenges of Coronavirus together.
